Where curiosity turns into exploration. A virtual STEM camp for middle school students, thirty minutes a day, five days a week.
About the camp
Middle school is when curiosity often turns into a real interest in science, medicine and technology. The Institute is built for that moment.
Students in Grades 6 to 8 explore medicine, the human body, engineering, artificial intelligence, environmental science and more through short, interactive workshops and hands-on activities.
Sessions run Monday through Friday and last thirty minutes each. Students can join the full experience or come to the topics that interest them most.

A new field every weekday.
Short sessions, deliberately. A student can meet six or seven areas of science in a fortnight and find out which one they want more of.

How the body works, what goes wrong, and what clinicians and researchers actually do about it.

Designing and testing solutions, from mechanical problems to medical technology.

Artificial intelligence
What AI is, where it is already used in medicine and research, and where it struggles.

Environmental science
How environment and health connect, and what that looks like at community scale.
Thirty minutes, then back to your summer.
A short daily session is a deliberate choice. It is long enough to do something real, short enough that a student can attend every day for a month without it becoming a chore, and flexible enough that missing a day costs nothing.
Each workshop stands on its own, so students who can only make some of them still get a complete experience out of the ones they attend.
Four weeks. Twenty topics. Thirty minutes a day.
