Meaningful impact isn’t always created through one major event. Sometimes, it comes from showing up again and again.
Through our ongoing partnership with Rise RVA, FutureVitals has delivered 30+ hands-on STEM workshops for students across the Richmond community. What began as individual science sessions has grown into one of our longest-running community initiatives, creating repeated opportunities for young students to experiment, ask questions, and discover areas of science they may never have explored before.

More than a one-time workshop.
The strength of this partnership is its consistency.
By returning for more than 30 sessions, we’ve been able to introduce students to a much broader view of STEM. One workshop might have them exploring how blood moves through the body, while another puts them behind a microscope, experimenting with chemical reactions, investigating DNA, or working through an engineering challenge.
Over time, students aren’t simply participating in activities. They’re becoming more comfortable asking questions, experimenting with ideas, making mistakes, and trying again.
